Things you must know about these plants

All these indoor plants have common features – they are very easy to care for and to maintain. You don’t have to water it every day and they require medium light. Water them only when the soil is fully dry.

One thing you may feel hard is about its fertilization. Fertilize them at least every two months for better growth and freshness. You can use compost or cow dung manures that are easily available in nearby plant nurseries.

You can grow both Money plant (also known as pothos) and Syngonium (also known as arrowhead) in water or soil. As the nutrients are more in the soil, they do better in soil and can trail well and look really great hanging. It looks compact and nice in water and the water should be changed every week as there is a chance for mosquito breeding in it. These indoor plants may help in removing airborne pollutants also.

ZZ plant and rubber plant can remove chemicals such as toluene, xylene, and formaldehyde which are present in pollutants from outside traffic, paints, detergents, grease etc.

In the case of rubber plant, there are two types – a typical burgandy color rubber plant and variegated kind rubber plant.

Areca palm brings a tropical look to your house. If the tip of its leaves are getting brown, it means it needs water. If the stem and leaves become yellow, ensure that it is away from direct sun.

Aloe Vera is a wonderful collection for your house. These interior plants can filter the toxic gases and impurities coming from carpets, pets, sofas, cleaning products, outside smoke, and traffic pollutions. They produce oxygen and keep our home as well as us fresh and happy.

Irrespective of how expensive furniture is laid out in that room, the green plants you arranged at the corner of the room will catch the attention. Also, try arranging multiple plants at varying heights to give the space depth. You should select the perfect type of interior plants and should understand if the plant can thrive in low, medium, and bright light.

You should be judicious to select its shape and dimension at the right location. Tall plants are ideal for corners. Areca palm, dracaena family, and rubber plant will perfectly match with your decor at the corner. The Areca palm guarantees a tropical atmosphere and refreshing feeling in your home as it is a good air purifier and oxygen producer as well.

4. Place or cover them in stylish interior planters

Depending on your style, a beautiful and stylish planter is a must to add beauty to your decor. You can use baskets made from natural materials like rope, bamboo. And, ceramics is also the best choice to give your interior plants a better look. You can buy ceramic pots according to your choice of color that matches the furniture and color code of your home.

You can buy colorful pots, pots with designs, and patterns as you want. Choose plain and neutral color pots to make the plants the heroes more than the pots. Ceramic pots are now available in all price ranges starting from rupees 100 onwards. Don’t put the plant directly into the ceramic pot. Instead, place the already planted pot into it. Otherwise, it will be very heavy to lift it for moving from one place to another.

Plants have a magical quality of being able to decorate a room and bring happiness and harmony to your home. So fill your home with green plants and they show magics to you. I am wordless and I can’t tell how much happiness and satisfaction is there in seeing a new baby plant and new leaves coming from its parent. I wish everyone should experience its beauty and truth.
